These terms explain the basic rules for using Typebound and its reading, typing, companion, journal, upload, and social features.

Using Typebound

You may use Typebound only if you can legally agree to these terms. Keep your sign-in credentials secure and provide accurate account information. You are responsible for activity associated with your account or access session.

Your content and personal books

You retain ownership of content you create or upload. You give Typebound the limited permission needed to store, process, display, back up, and return that content to you as part of the service. Upload only books you wrote, that are in the public domain, or that you otherwise have the right to use. Do not upload or share unlawful, infringing, malicious, or privacy-invasive material.

Community conduct

Do not harass, threaten, impersonate, exploit, spam, manipulate leaderboards, probe other readers’ data, bypass access controls, or interfere with the service. Typebound may limit features, remove content, preserve safety records, or suspend access when reasonably necessary to protect readers or the service.

Public-domain sources

Books identified as Project Gutenberg editions come from an independent service. Public-domain status and permitted use can vary by country. Source links are provided so you can review the edition and its terms.

Service changes

Features may change as Typebound improves. Reasonable efforts will be made to protect saved data and communicate material changes, but uninterrupted availability is not guaranteed. Back up irreplaceable writing and personal books.

Disclaimers and responsibility

Typebound is provided on an “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. It is a reading and typing product, not educational, medical, legal, or professional advice. To the extent permitted by law, Typebound is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses or for third-party services outside its control.

Ending use

You may stop using Typebound and delete your Typebound data at any time. Typebound may restrict access for serious or repeated violations, security risks, legal requirements, or harm to other readers.
